Each team will consist of 4 players and must include at least 1 female player. A 5th player can be brought (and paid for)
as a substitute or alternate. However, only 4 players (including at least one female player) can be on the court at one time.
Unlike previous tournaments, the registrants will not be selecting their competition level. Instead, all teams will receive
a group assignment (red, green or blue) from the organizers on March 12. The intent is to group each team with other teams
of the same/approximate skill level. Your time slot for Saturday will depend on your group
assignment (either 9am-12pm, 12pm-3pm or 3pm-6pm). Each player will be limited to one team and one group on Saturday.
The website accepts team registrations
only, however, individuals can request assistance directly from
the organizers to find teammates.
Sunday competitions will pit an individual against every other individual in a king/queen of the court
competition. Individual registrants will receive a group assignment (red, green or blue) from the
organizers on March 12. The intent is to group each individual with other individuals of the same/
approximate skill level. Your time slot for Sunday will depend on your group assignment (either 9am-12pm,
12pm-3pm or 3pm-6pm).
A team will consist of 3 players. Your teammates for each game will rotate and will be assigned by
organizers. The rotating teammate assignments will ensure that you will play with every other player
and against every other player in your group. Depending on the number of registrants, we expect each
individual to play between 8-10 games. At the end of these games, prizes will be awarded to the top 3
men and top 3 women within your group.
